Allows for quick and easy conversion of an imperial push-in fitting into an imperial threaded fitting and features a compact design.
The John Guest grey acetal compact straight push-in fitting (BSP thread) allows an imperial-sized pipe to be converted to an imperial BSP thread for connection to a fitting, piece of equipment or appliance. Quick and easy to install, John Guest push-in fittings instantly create a secure push-in connection and a perfect seal without the need for tools, hot work or sealants.
The unique collet locking system securely holds the pipe firmly in place without deforming it or restricting flow. The fittings are corrosion-resistant and fully demountable, improving system performance and reducing downtime during maintenance.
Made from grey acetal copolymer with a push-in connection, the fitting is suitable for food, potable liquids and inert gases. In accordance with the British Beer & Pub Association Code of Practice, the fittings can also be used with nitrogen (N₂) or carbon dioxide (CO₂) distribution lines and gas mixtures, as well as for pneumatic, compressed air and vacuum applications. All John Guest fittings are manufactured and assembled in the UK.
NOTE: The 3/8" x 1/4" model features a special oversized seal suitable for use with chamfered-face ports. No thread seal is supplied with the 3/8" x 1/8" version.
