X-Acid LY is a liquid disinfectant based on peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries for its broad spectrum of activities and rapid action at room temperature.

X-Acid LY is an oxidizing component, highly effective on a broad spectrum of microorganisms: bacteria, molds, yeasts and spores.

X-Acid LY is non-foaming, easy to rinse off, sensitive to organic substances and insensitive to water hardness. These features make it ideal for use in CIP systems, where it can be added via automatic injection systems.

The oxidizing action also translates into deodorizing and bleaching properties.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Use X-Acid LY in concentrations ranging from 0.3% to 1%, depending on the type and level of contamination present. Contact time is 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the desired effect. Solutions should be prepared at room temperature just before use.

Rinse with drinking water at the end of the operation to remove all traces of the product. The product and its solutions must not come into direct or indirect contact with food.

Systems should never be soaked for long periods, especially in water containing chloride concentrations in excess of 25 mg/L.
