Water Analysis

Knowing and choosing your brewing water is one of the most important steps in beer production. In partnership with Murphy&Son we offer you:

• to analyze your water (Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride, Sulphate, pH, total hardness (CaCO3 equivalent), alkalinity (CaCO3 equivalent), nitrates)
• to provide you with recommendations for the treatment of your mash water

In this package you will find:

• a sample tube for your water
• a form to indicate the name of your brewery
• a pre-paid envelope to send the sample directly to the laboratory

Procedure:

1. Fill the sample tube with your brewing water
2. Write your name on the tube and on the form to be sent back
3. Return the whole (tube + form) in the pre-addressed envelope
4. +/- 15 days after sending, you will receive by mail a detailed report of the analysis as well as recommendations for modification of the water for the production of 3 types of beers (Pales, Stouts and Lagers)
