Description

The digital refractometer is intended solely for measuring beer wort.
It converts the refractive index directly into °Plato readings.
Degrees Plato (°P) is a unit used to express the mass percentage of dissolved solids (mainly sugars) in wort before fermentation. It allows estimation of the potential alcohol level produced by these sugars during brewing, and its evolution reflects enzymatic activity.
