It features very rapid fermentation at high temperature, allowing complete attenuation in just 48 to 72 hours, and then expressing exceptional flocculation capacity.
This results in considerable energy savings and optimizes the production capacity of the fermentation cellar.
It produces blond beers with a neutral aroma profile and light notes of orange peel and citrus.
Kveik active top-fermenting dry yeast strain for the production of a wide range of beers. Even at high temperatures, it does not produce unpleasant phenolic compounds or higher alcohols. The aromatic expression of fruity esters is directly proportional to fermentation temperature.
Beer styles: A wide range of beers, mainly juicy ales and contemporary hazy ales (i.e. NEIPA / Hazy IPAs, Double Hazy IPAs & Hazy Pale ales).
Fermentation temperature: 20-40°C, optimal 34-40°C

Recommended doses : 50-90 g/hL cold must at 34-40°C.
