Special slide rule to calculate the carbonation level / CO2 content in ‘volumes’ or grams per litre from measurements of pressure and temperature.

To determine the CO2 concentration:

Match the equilibrium pressure scale -read on the meter- with the temperature scale- measured on the product.

Read the corresponding result under the red line which indicates the quantity of CO2 contained in the product.

The scale can also be used to determine the pressure to be applied according to the temperature in order to get the desired amount of CO2

Match the desired amount of CO2 under the red line.

Adapt the pressure to be applied to the product according to its temperature.
